Contact and Support for the
Campaign
As at 23/10/2005 we are assembling
information for this website and working out where we go from
here in the context of a very difficult situation, with planning
permission having been agreed way back in February 2005 subject
to a "106 agreement" - which is essentially a contract
between the mortgagees and the bank with the local council to
allow contnued community access to the space, objections to
the wording of which are the main thrust of papers so far assembled
on this website - we are still in active negotiation with Islington
Council to amend the wording of this agreement with the new
owners of the building.
At the same time we are looking
to approach higher authorities who may still be able to put
a stop on the building consent. Please read what has already
been written, and either send a straight email (please attach
any images which would be suitable for the website - especially
showing the internal structure of the buiilding) to this address
Here are some headings to help
you structure the information. We can add suitable coments to
a feedback page on the website, but if you don't want us to
do this (or if it's advising us on the campaign) just say in
the message: NB your feedback is essential to this campaign:
many thanks for your support.
